I'm getting back into the swings of things...

I am ready to get back to doing what i really love doing and that is...BLOGGING! I love what blogging means for me. Since I love to post pictures on my blog, for me, blogging means taking random, and not so random photos that will make the 'Blog Worthy' pile OR the 'NO-WAY' pile.

Sometimes I wonder if I should only use photos that have a wonderful story behind it...maybe a good joke, some emotion that the camera caught at just the right moment (blogtastic, meant to be posted asap)-are these the stories or thoughts I want to post? OR should i set out in my daily, sometimes, mundane routine and LOOK for something that is BLOG WORTHY??? These are questions on my mind tonight. Not sure why.

1. Do we seek out a story for our blog. Look for something funny, beautiful, different, OR

2. Do we simply stumble upon a story, with a picture, or without? And which one if either, is more interesting? Is one more genuine than the other?

I do both. I have so many things that i want to share on this blog, that I get overwhelmed, so I don't do much of anything because I have a hard time choosing what to do. Yes, any of my good friends will tell you, I HAVE A DECISION making problem;0 I am going to make the decision to just "Do it!" Make more decisions, commit to them, trust myself. :):)

AS i sit here tonight, i feel like Carrie Bradshaw. One cigarette quietly burning beside me, a cup of hot tea gone cold from one to many not so important questions like the previous one (Oh, Kelle, my SATC guru-is it hot tea or coffee that graces Ms. Carrie Bradshaws taste buds?) My negligee is comfortable, yet baring, so I feel uncomfortably on display (not really sitting here in a negligee-but Carrie Bradshaw would be. Add some heals and a scarf and then I would be set to start my own column. LOL

Sitting here, I realize that i am asking a kind of boring 'who cares' question, when maybe I should be asking questions about sex...peeing during??? Hey, in this blogdream, I am after all Carrie Bradshaw who writes the column Sex and the City. At this point, she puts her cigarette out, looks out the window, quietly walks to her bedroom armoir and pulls out the fluffiest blanket she can find, leaving behind the other neatly folded blankets. She then, wraps it around herself, returns to her computer and types something like this...

"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.

Okay, she is talking about love (I LOVE this quote from her show tho...so true) where I am talking about blogging-i don't think Carrie blogs anyway, but i guess what i am trying to say. WHO CARES? We can deem pictures, words, anything...suitable on our own blogs. Yes, sometimes I think the only things i have to share that are extremely important in my life are our two babies, our friends babies, daily routines, family, friend stories-but i love writing about and reading that!!!! Ilove that I am in MI, catching up on all the lives of my sister friends in Florida. So, I guess in answer to my own questions... I look for blog posts like a dog sniffing out a bone buried last fall. Sometimes i stumble onto a good one too! As I read my postings back, I can't tell which ones are which which-I love them all! Hope you enjoyed this...I think I am in one of those laughing moods where just about anything could put me over the edge of hysterical laughter...love that mood!!!!

Heee heee....I can picture it! It's so true. And the camera zooms in to the Apple laptop screen as her times-new-roman font appears with the question.

You live. You live beautifully, look back at it, and think, "Yeah. This is worth blogging." It is the scrapbook of your life--the pictures, the words, the stories. It's whatever you want it to be. I can see this blog thing is totally opening all the creative chambers of your mind, and soon you realize you write better, you take better pictures...
Lovely. Just lovely.
